E) PUBLIC SAFETY INSIGHTS LLC - COMPACT RAPID DEPLOYABLE TOWERS (CRD)

E.1) Discussion and consideration to approve an agreement with Public Safety Insights, LLC (PSI) to host compact rapid deployable towers.   This agreement is to strengthen emergency response capabilities by leveraging local resources and ensuring that first responders have access to advanced communication tools such as compact rapid deployable towers (CRDs). These partnerships enable a coordinated approach to enhance public safety, improve communication networks, and ensure that critical services remain operational during emergencies. Additionally, this agreement replaces units removed from the area, ensuring that Elko County remains equipped with the necessary communication infrastructure. By maintaining access to PSI's CRDs, the Host ensures that local first responders can continue providing timely and effective emergency services without interruptions due to the removal of other units from the region.   This ensures the community's ongoing safety and preparedness.

F) OFFICE OF WILDLAND FIRE

F.1) Discussion and consideration to approve the grant award from the Office of Wildland Fire in the amount of $176,622 which will be used to purchase and mount multiple skid units for existing vehicles within the County to increase firefighting capability.   The Elko County Board of Fire Commissioners approved the grant application at the July 17, 2024 meeting.
