D) ENHANCED 911 SURCHARGE PUBLIC HEARING

D.1) A public hearing to receive comments on a proposed Enhanced 911 Surcharge for all phones in Elko County. The surcharge would cover the costs of equipment and software upgrades to an Enhanced 911 system and would be twenty-five cents for each landline and cell phone per month and a two dollar and fifty cents charge per month for trunk lines. The charges would appear on your month bills from the various carriers. This service would enhance the ability of emergency services to accurately determine the location of an emergency and respond more efficiently.

E) FISCAL AFFAIRS

E.1) Review and possible approval of an Inter Local Agreement with State of Nevada Department of Taxation for the collection of the 1/4 cent infrastructure tax as approved by Ordinance 2016-01.

E.2) Review and possible approval of a letter of Corrective Action regarding the audit findings located in the 2014/2015 audited financial statements.

F) FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017 BUDGET

F.1) Overview of Elko County budget status, revenue projections and estimated expenditures.

F.2) Review and discussion of recommendations from the budget committee in regards to specific department requests, available funds and proposed tentative budgets for the Elko County Operating Funds.

G) CLOSED LABOR SESSION

G.1) In accordance with NRS 241, the County Commission will meet in Closed Labor Session to discuss labor strategy and negotiation processes for the following Elko County Associations: General & Supervisory Employees Association, Elko County Deputy Sheriff's Association, Elko County Sheriff's Management Association, Elko County Public Attorney's Association, Elko County Chief Deputy Public Attorney's Association, Elko County Firefighters Association, Local 5046
