M.1) Discussion and consideration to accept a grant award from the State of Nevada, Department of Health and Human Services, Aging and Disability Services Division in the amount of $15,494.94 for Fiscal Year 2026.If approved, this will be the fourth year Elko County has accepted the grant.  This grant enables Elko County Social Services to provide representative payee services to vulnerable individuals in the community.  Social Security requires some individuals who are incapable of managing their Social Security or Supplemental Social Security benefits to have a person or organization (representative payee) to manage their income for them to ensure their current and future needs are met (food, shelter, medical care, etc.).  Total estimated expense:  $17,778.94 Total grant reimbursement:  $15,549.94 Match required:  $2,319   Budgeted employee salaries and benefits which have already been budgeted will be used to meet the match requirement.
