    (Please have my comments read into the record at the meeting as I am unable to attend but want my opposition formally documented)
    I OPPOSE Elko County's attempt to amend the local wireless code (ECC Chapter 16) to legalize administrative approvals of standalone cell towers—without notice, hearing, or any right to appeal by affected property owners. It is government over-reach and a denial of due process to not allow private property owners a say on what is planned to be constructed in their communities. Government is supposed to serve the people, not rule over them; this is called tyranny. Making decisions behind closed doors affecting private property owners' enjoyment of their land without asking permission is just that. I OPPOSE!
