H.1) Discussion and consideration of a motion directing staff to submit a grant application for the 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) opportunity.   Elko County Public Works has held two noticed public meetings to hear project suggestions and has received no eligible suggested projects from the community.   Public Works staff are proposing to move forward by developing an application for the Tuscarora Water Storage Tank Replacement project. This project involves the replacement of the current 57,000-gallon bolted steel water storage tank as it is susceptible to leaking and has reached the end of its useful life.   The proposed new water storage tank would be welded steel, hold 74,000-gallons, and replace the existing bolted tank in its present location. The grant amount request is $462,320.00.
