H.1) Discussion and consideration to approve an agreement with the State of Nevada, Department of Health and Human Services to reimburse the County for the assistance with Social Security benefits for citizens of Elko County with a term expiring September 30, 2028.   There are rare instances where the County provides financial assistance to individuals who are waiting for their Social Security benefits to be approved.  This agreement allows the State to work with the Social Security Administration to reimburse the County for the financial assistance provided in the interim.
