H.1) Discussion and consideration to approve the request to upfit a remounted ambulance truck in an amount not to exceed $88,000.  The Elko County Fire Protection District has been approved to purchase a remounted ambulance in the Fiscal Year 2025 Infrastructure Tax Plan.However, the budget did not include the cost to upfit the truck.  In order to upfit the truck, the following is needed: Stryker Powerload and gurney - $82,980 (includes $60,589 equipment, $21,633 for five year service plan, and $758 for shipping) Radio Installation - $2,500 estimated Decals and Installation - $2,500 estimated   There are carry-over capital funds allocated to the Ambulance Service from Fiscal Year 2023 that can be used to cover the cost of the upfit. The budget committee reviewed the request on July 24, 2024 and recommends approval to use Fiscal Year 2023 capital funds.
