F.1) Discussion and consideration to approve a Road Project Agreement with the Forest Service which will allow Elko County Roads Department to facilitate repairs to a portion of Lamoille Canyon Road above the Lions' Club Camp which was damaged during the winter storms in late 2022, early 2023.  The project includes the designing and constructing of a mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall to repair the failed road fill slope and re-establish the two-lane asphalt road.  Elko County will receive funding from the Forest Service to solicit and award the contract for the construction work, oversee the contract, manage traffic and/or road closures, and ensure the road is repaired and restored to safe operations.The Forest Service will be responsible for providing the road specifications and design drawings, conducting a final inspection to ensure the road meets standards, handle all public information and media requests related to the project, and ensure all expectations are met associated with Federal Highway funding.
