E.1) Discussion and consideration to purchase a 2024 one-ton crew cab with service body for the Elko County Road Department.   The department requested quotes from 3 different dealerships in Elko. Elko Motor Company and Gallagher Ford responded, both submitted bids with the service body and plow. The quotes for the service body and plow were the same from both companies.  The one-ton crew cab with service body and plow at Elko Motor Company $79,864.67 and at Gallagher Ford $74,926.3.   Elko County Road Department was approved through the Capital Purchases in the amount of $70,000 on May 17, 2023. To stay within budget Elko County Road Department removed the plow from the purchase and is requesting to purchase the pickup with service body from Gallagher Ford for $64,243.16.
