I.1) Discussion and consideration to approve the Water and Sewer Assistance Program Vendor Agreement for the water and sewer systems under the County's jurisdiction.  The agreement allows the water and sewer systems to receive funds from the State Low Income Household Water Assistance Program that provides assistance to low-income households for water and sewer bills.  The program supports restoration to households that have had drinking water and/or wastewater services disconnected due to arrearages, prevention of disconnection for households at risk of disconnection due to arrearages, and household seeking assistance with current water bills.If approved, Elko County would enter an agreement for each of our water and sewer systems, which includes Montello water and sewer systems, Jackpot water and sewer systems, Jarbidge water system, and Tuscarora water system.
