E.5) Discussion and consideration of approval of the Nevada State Immunization Program COVID-19 Vaccination Program grant in the amount of $414,574.26.  The grant period is from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 and does not require a match.  The objectives of the grant include increasing vaccination capacity in the county, ensuring high-quality and safe administration of the COVID-19 vaccine, equitable distribution, and education, outreach, and partnerships.  The scope of work and budget for this grant includes hiring a full-time vaccine coordinator through the end of the grant period.
