D.2) Update status report on the Federal CARES Act funding including the expenditure of funds for issues directly related to the COVID-19 Health Emergency and Elko County participation with the Nevada Association of Counties on a Business Grant Program including possible Commission direction to staff. The approximate $4.4 million of CARES Act funding that has been allocated to Elko County is split into two phases of approximately $2.2 million each. Budget expenditures for both phases will be explained in detail at the meeting. Elko County is working with the Governor's Finance Office and the Nevada Association of Counties to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Act.
