E.1) Discussion and consideration of Elko County's continuing support of the Census and to encourage Elko County residents to participate in the 2020 Census. Scott Gavorsky, US Census, will update the Commission on current efforts to complete a full count in Elko County. The Census results will be used for the next decade for many purposes including calculation of revenue formulas for various government programs, boundary determinations of various federal, state and local elected official positions and by private industry / business for economic development purposes.
