3) BLM Planning Initiative 2.0 For Possible Action Discussion on the BLM changing its Regulations for land management planning, called Planning 2.0. The BLM is reviewing the way they develop Resource Management Plans to a more landscape-scale resource issue approach to improve the land use planning procedures required by FLPMA. In order to follow Executive and Secretarial direction that encourages science-based decision-making; landscape scale management approaches; adaptive management techniques to manage uncertainty; and active coordination and collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
