    We own 13 parcels on the South-side of Ryndon and we Support the proposed outdoor tire repair business and over-the-road semi-truck parking.

    As a Ryndon resident, I'm opposed to this proposed truck stop. It's location is too close to homes and a school bus stop, kids should be able to walk to and from the bus and feel safe and I don't think they will with a truck stop there. I'm worried about the amount of truck traffic going up and tearing up our dirt roads that aren't maintained by the county from trucks getting lost. We had a truck last year get stuck in our culvert and he tore it up without a care in the world. There's also the noise issue, trucks idling all night won't make for happy residents, not to mention the amount of trash they will despose of all over the place. While I do think Ryndon could use a truck stop I think the proposed location is terrible.
