    I live on Chaparral and I oppose the request to rezone the parcel, it does not seem responsible to approve a rezoning request that close to a residential area, without a clear plan for the parcels future. Whatever the “future unknown business” is could impact property values. To suggest that light industrial usage couldn’t possibly pose a nuisance is absurd. In the last several weeks they were working that parcel, leveling and clearing it and that has been loud. This is a large residential area, and a decrease in property values would have an impact on tax revenue, and takes money out of residents pockets. I think it is prudent to request more information, and for the applicant to have a clearer plan for the properties future prior to any rezoning consideration.
