G.9) Discussion and consideration of Resolution 12-2016 authorizing an Interfund loan to the Elko Area Transit Fund from the County Capital Projects Fund. Pursuant to NRS 354.6118, the County can provide for an interfund loan up to 24 months as long as the fund loaning the money is not compromised by the transfer. The Elko Area Transit Fund receives state and federal grants and all of those grants are reimbursement grants therefore there is always a waiting period for receipt of the grant funds. This resolution will only be used for any amounts not received at 6/30/16.
