O.1) Discussion and consideration of approval to accept a grant award from the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety, in the amount of $65,000 for the Fourth Judicial District Court's Felony DUI Diversion Court, with a required match of $16,250.
The funding originates from the U.S. Department of Transportation and will support the monitoring, supervision, and treatment for repeat DUI offenders through the three to five year program. The program provides structured, evidence-based intervention to reduce recidivism, promote long-term recovery, and improve public safety.
