D.1) Moment of Silence for Gary Woodbury, 82, honoring his legacy of public service, community involvement, and family devotion as he passed away on August 7, 2026 at his home in Pleasant Valley/Lamoille, Nevada.   Mr. Woodbury was elected as the Elko County District Attorney in 1994 and holds the distinction of being the longest-serving District Attorney in Elko County history.  Following his tenure in the District Attorney's Office, he and his family revitalized the Wells Progressive newspaper while continuing to serve the public through a private law practice, representing numerous prominent cases throughout his career.   Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Woodbury was deeply dedicated to his family, which he considered his greatest achievement.
