N.1) Discussion and consideration to apply for the Nevada Aging & Disability Services Division (ADSD), Office of Community Living's (OCL) Opening Minds Through Art - Dementia Support funding opportunity in the amount of $12,000.
This funding will be used to conduct two six-week Opening Minds Through Art (OMA) program sessions that will be facilitated by an OMA-certified facilitator. OMA is an evidence-based, intergenerational art program for people living with dementia. A 25% ($3,000) match is required, which will be provided by in-kind efforts within the department.
