K.1) Discussion, consideration, and possible selection of a contractor to remove dead trees located within the remaining high-risk areas of Lamoille Grove Park and to perform associated stump removal and authorization for staff to proceed with the project.

Earlier this year, the Elko County Fire Protection District removed a number of dead trees from Lamoille Grove Park and has been working to remove the associated stumps. Approximately 21 stumps remain from those removal efforts. As fire season intensifies, Fire District personnel will have limited availability to continue assisting with the project.
In addition, approximately 23 dead trees remain within the identified high-risk areas of the park and require removal. Staff is requesting the Board select a contract to complete the remaining tree and stump removal work.
