D.1) Discussion and consideration of approval of an appointment to serve on the Elko County Fair Board for a term expiring on December 31, 2026.  The appointed member will serve in the position responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination, and production of the Elko County Fair, including oversight of event vendors, the carnival, concessions, and fairground vendors.   Two applications were received from individuals interested in serving on the Fair Board, Michelle Cromwell and Valerie D'Asto.   On June 17, 2026, the Elko County Fair Board reviewed both applications and voted to recommend the appointment of Michelle Cromwell to fill the vacant position.
