L.2) Discussion and consideration to approve the reallocation of  $300,000 of the North Fork Volunteer Fire Department's $400,000 community grant funding for use by other fire departments.  This reallocation follows approval of a cooperative agreement with the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) which allows the Elko County Fire Protection District to utilize an existing NDOT facility in lieu of constructing a new station.  Approximately $100,000 of the original grant funding will be retained for facility improvements, including heating, necessary upgrades, and equipment to support fire operations in the North Fork area.   This partnership significantly reduces overall project costs while still meeting operational needs in the North Fork area.
