D.1) Discussion and consideration of Proclamation No. 2026-07, entitled, "A Proclamation by the Elko County Board of Commissioners Designating August 4, 2026, as 'National Night Out 2026' in Elko County”, recognizing the 42nd Annual National Night Out event.   National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes partnerships between law enforcement, fire and emergency services, local government, and the communities they serve.  The event provides an opportunity for public safety agencies to thank the citizens of Elko County for their continued support while encouraging residents to become better acquainted with the men and women who work to keep the community safe.   The 42nd Annual National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Elko City Park.  The free event will include food, public safety displays, emergency vehicles, informational booths, demonstrations, and activities for families and children.
