P.1) Discussion and consideration of approval to enter into a contract to join the Nevada Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NV-ISAC) in the amount of $15,000, to be paid from the existing IT Software budget.   Currently, information sharing and coordination among local agencies occurs on an ad-hoc basis, without a formal structure or secure mechanism for sharing sensitive data.  Participation in NV-ISAC will establish a secure, framework that allows local agencies to cooperate directly with one another and share relevant information without mandates and operational restrictions related to the connection.The contract has been reviewed by the Elko County District Attorney's Office.
