K.1) Discussion and consideration to approve the purchase and installation of new consoles and workstations for the Elko County Regional Communications Center using Enhanced 911 (E-911) funds, in the total amount of $779,155.82 as approved in the FY2025 Enhanced 911 Fund budget.   The existing equipment has reached end-of-life and no longer meets operational or system compliance needs.  This upgrade is necessary to ensure compatibility and compliance with the upgraded Nevada Shared Radio System used by multiple county agencies to replace broken and outdated workstation equipment.   The Enhanced 911 Board has reviewed the request and recommends approval.  Sufficient funds are available in the Enhanced 911 Fund, and the expenditure was approved in the FY2025 budget.   The recommended purchase includes Zetron Consoles and Evans Workstations.  The Zetron Consoles were quoted using the Nevada State contract pricing and include five (5) years of service, in the amount of $641,821.60.  The Evans Workstations were quoted using HGAC Buying Group pricing, in the amount of $137,334.22.  The total project cost is $779,155.82.   This project was approved by the Commission who obligated funds towards this project on September 6, 2023.
