T.1) Discussion and consideration of an application for the Federal Fiscal Year 2025 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG).   Elko County has historically applied for and received funding through the EMPG program to support its emergency management operations.  The grant is specifically used to offset the salary and benefits of the Emergency Manager position.   For Federal Fiscal Year 2025, staff intends to submit an application requesting the maximum available amount of $71,655.  The grant requires a one to one cash match, which will be met using funds already allocated in the approved County budget for the Emergency Manager's salary and benefits.  Therefore, no additional County funds are required to meet the obligation.
