S.2) Discussion and consideration to accept the Fiscal Year 2026 State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) United We Stand (UWS) grant award in the amount of $31,752.   Elko County has been awarded $31,752 through the FY26 SERC United We Stand grant program for the grant period of July 21, 2025 through May 30, 2026.  This funding will support the purchase of Starlink communications equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) equipment to enhance the County's emergency response and public safety capabilities.   There is no local match required for this grant.
