R.1) Discussion and consideration to approve an amendment to the Interlocal Contract between Elko County and the State of Nevada for the administration of the Medicaid program.    Elko County participates in an Interlocal Contract with the State of Nevada to support the Medicaid program, which provides medical assistance to eligible individuals based on financial and medical criteria.  Under this agreement, the State - through the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy - provides administrative services to implement the program, and the County provides the non-federal share of associated medical, administrative, and transactional costs.   The proposed amendment:   Adds the newly formed Nevada Health Authority as a participating public entity; Increases the maximum contract amount from $2,927,049.35 to $4,117,909.14 to account for rising medical costs.   The contract term remains unchanged and continues from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2027 with the amended not-to-exceed amount of $4,117,909.14 for the full term.
