I completely agree that these elk plans are extremely outdated and need to be revisited. Nevada has become a premier state for hunting elk and many Nevadans want to see more elk and have increased hunting opportunity.

These elk plans are extremely outdated and need to be revisited. Sportsman around the state enjoy hunting elk and want to see more of them. The current population objectives set in these plans need to be revisited. Social tolerance for elk in the last 10 years has greatly increased and that was the only real consideration made with these elk plans. The elk incentive program has made having elk a profitable endeavor for most operators receiving tags. There needs to be more equitable number reached to allow Nevadans more opportunity to hunt elk.
