G.5) Discussion and consideration of recommending to the Elko County Board of County Commissioners to utilize Enhanced 911 surcharge funds towards dedicated positions within the Communications Department. Consideration could include a radio technician and/or a dedicated Information Technology position. IT positions and a clerical support position were previously recommended in the 2020 Winbourne Consulting report, and were previously excluded from recommendation by the E-911 Board.
