4.B) Discussion and consideration of a request from the IT Department to use approximately $15,000 from their Fiscal Year 2024 computer replacement budget to purchase new office phones.    Currently, the office phones are rented as part of a contract through our vendor, Vonage.  The cost to rent the phones is currently $1.70 per phone, per month for a total of $510 per month for 300 phones.    The contract with Vonage is set to expire in November 2024 and the rental fee is expected to increase depending on the length of the renewed contract.  If the contract is not renewed, the phones will need to be returned to Vonage and new phones will need to be purchased.
