Elko needs to OPEN NOW. People in this county have been incredibly patient and cooperative and our county needs to act independently of this ridiculous stay at home order from the governor who in fact said that he does not care about the rural counties. STOP THIS TYRRANY. Get people back to work. NOW. Please. As this meeting indicates, unemployment is a huge issue and people are not able to feed their families. This is not okay. Do what's right.
You don't need to wAit for the governor to tell you what to do. Do what's best for our county. Write a resolution to go back to work and school.
