O.1) Discussion and consideration of a request from the Jarbidge Community Association, a Nevada 501(c)3 non-profit organization, to donate the historic Jarbidge jail to the Association.The Jarbidge Community Association's purpose is to preserve, educate, protect, promote the historical sites and natural resources, and to enrich the community of Jarbidge and the general welfare of the community as a whole. The Jarbidge Advisory Board met on October 25, 2024.  Community members expressed concerns about the jail being open to the public to enjoy.In order for Elko County to donate the jail to the Jarbidge Community Association, the property and building(s) must be appraised first.
