F.1) Discussion and consideration of a request from Vernon Hatch to perform hand counting of election ballots for future elections.  The request was submitted to the Elko County Board of Commissioners during public comment at February 21, 2024 meeting.   In October 2022, the Board of Elko County Commissioners considered a request from Nevada Coalition of Voters, at which time it was advised by legal counsel that elected officials have their own authority and the Elko County Board of Commissioners do have authority over voting machines.
