    In Convention Saturday, March 2, the Elko County Republican Party adopted a resolution that concludes with the following:
    "Resolved that the Elko County Republican Party:
    1. states its opposition to the widespread use of Dominion voting machines throughout the United States;
    2. strongly urges the Elko County Board of Commissioners and the Elko County Clerk to investigate alternatives to the Dominion voting machines currently in use in Elko County and to cancel the contract with Dominion if necessary;
    3. Reject the adoption of any other electronic voting system;
    4. recognizes that such alternatives could include paper ballots, optical ballot readers, and any other sandboxed (internet isolated) systems that would increase security and reliability;
    5. recognizes that implementation of alternatives would have associated costs, but asserts that election integrity is worth finding the necessary funding;
    6. states its strongest opposition to the current universal mail-in ballot system in Nevada and urges our local government representatives to make positions known to our Legislature and Governor.
    7. We urge the repeal in full of AB 321.
    8. We oppose same day voter registration.
    9. We support requiring valid state-issued picture ID both for voter registration and issuance of a ballot at the place of polling."
    This is a slight revision to a resolution adopted October 23, 2021, put on the agenda and discussed during the Commission's regular meeting of November 3, 2021.
