V.2) Discussion and consideration of providing a letter of support to federal delegates for H.R. 1666 and S. 1673 Protecting Access to Ground Ambulance Medical Services Act. The Protecting Access to Ground Ambulances Services Act would extend for three years the temporary Medicare ground ambulance increases of 2% urban, 3% rural and the super rural bonus payment. The need for these increases has been supported by the findings of Government Accountability Office (GAO) reports in 2007 and 2012. They have been consistently extended by Congress on a bipartisan basis.FOR POSSIBLE ACTION
