U.1) Discussion and consideration of a letter of support for SkyWest Airlines Charter application to the Secretary of Transportation to provide charter air service under FAA Part 135 and DOT Part 380.    This designation would benefit the Elko Regional Airport by enabling SkyWest to provide 30 passenger charter flights to our region.  SkyWest, along with all airlines have been largely impacted by the shortage of pilots and the FAA Part 135 commuter air carrier designation will allow SkyWest to provide another commercial air service option to our region.
