Q.1) Discussion and consideration of issues related to the development of a motor sports complex facility on the recently transferred BLM property west of Elko adjacent to the Elko County Shooting Range. Elko County received the deed from the BLM for the 241.8 acre property in December. Various motor sport groups have expressed interest over the past several years to develop facilities at the location. Similar to the Summit Raceway and Elko Archery Club developments near the Elko Summit Estates, the initial plan for this property was to allow user groups to develop and maintain facilities under County agreement. Preliminary direction regarding a use plan for the property may be discussed.
