D.1) Discussion and consideration of an appointment to fill the vacancy of the Elko County Public Administrator left by the resignation of long-time Public Administrator, Janyce Jenkins. This elected position provides administration of estate services for individuals that die without a qualified family member or person to administer the estate. The successful applicant will be required to run for elected office during the 2020 election cycle to stay in the position. The position announcement was advertised and three candidates were interviewed by staff. A staff recommendation will be made to the Commission.
