E.2) Discussion and consideration of adopting the Title VI Policy for Elko County Transit Department; GET My Ride Program. Title VI is a nondiscrimination plan required by the Federal Government for Federally Funded programs such as GET My Ride. This nondiscrimination plan covers not denying services to the public based on race, color, national origin, sex, age and the protected classes under nondiscrimination laws. It also serves to keep services open to the public including those with Limited English Proficiency and certifies we will uphold Environmental Justice laws.
