L.2) Pursuant to Public Notice 24-2017 and NRS 354.598005(1) whereby the Board is required to hold a public hearing for augmenting the budget of any fund that Ad Valorem tax is allocated to, Resolution 2017-05 is to recognize unanticipated resources received in Civil Filing Fees, collected by the Justice/Municipal Court and who will be utilizing the fees to pay for employee costs associated with technology updates. Also, the resolution recognized Prisoner Fees collected by the Sheriff’s office that will be utilized to pay for authorized Capital Expenditures and Inmate Communications Fees that will be used to pay for upgrades to ID Equipment and a Livescan Machine in the Elko County Jail. Lastly to recognize unanticipated Net Proceeds of mineral allocated in the General Fund allowing for transfer of this Revenue to County Capital Projects Fund for use on approved Capital Projects.
