G.1) Discussion and consideration of Intrastate Interlocal Contract between Elko County and the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. The interlocal agreement is necessary for Elko County Ambulance Service to participate in and receive funds from the Medicaid Certified Public Expenditures Program (CPE) for Ground Emergency Medical Transportation (GEMT). The CPE-GEMT program allows for reimbursement when Medicaid funds received for each transport fall short of the actual cost per transport for any public agency.
